Playmor Sale

Hey all!!

Looks like things are jumping around here. It’s nice to see some new and refreshing posts. My thanks to all of the “thread” starters.

Well likely I am the last to notice, but Playmor Farms is having a Sale, July 7th. Is anyone going to go and check it out? I see some broodmares and foals I would LOVE to have.  Any favorites on the sales list for anyone?

I feel like I might’ve come across that information some time ago and meant to circle back around to it as the sale got closer, but it slipped my mind. So, thanks for the reminder! I just went to their website and downloaded the sales list.

I saw that RJM Pardon My French was gelded. I always wanted to cross my Playboy mare to him. They have some nice 3 in 1 packages though.

Yes, it’s time to thin the heard here at PlayMor Farm. Although we’re calling it a dispersal sale, it’s really more of a reduction sale then dispersal, but I lost that symantical argument right when we went to press. :(

There are some very well bred mares going through, as well as some outstanding prospects and seasoned vets.

If nothing else, it’ll be a good show and, as always, great food! The sale cataloge is now available online at:

As for Pardon My French, he’s been an anomaly for us. We stood him at stud and marketed him as a breeding stallion for a few years, and have some very pretty offspring to show for it. But there was only nominal interest in him, and the numbers game has forced our hand. Gelding him has really honed his work ethic, and he’s ready to take any amateur or jr. exhibitor to any winners circle in the country.

The sale is during the Bluegrass Classic Morgan show to be held at the Horse Park in Lexington, KY. The Horse Park itself is worth the trip. Amazing place. The sale is Wed, July 7 at 11am, the show starts at 7pm that day, and on Friday, July 9, we’ll have the ribbon cutting ceremony on the new Morgan presence here in the horse capital of the world.

Circle the date and call it “My Morgan Vacation”).

    hey Bill,
I would have fought on your side of the semantics…I don’t like Dispersal…it makes me think someone is leaving our business and we don’t need that!!:)
    Glad to hear it isn’t.

Wild Horses couldn’t drag us away.

(Well.., they could, but we wouldn’t like it)
