Walk for Brock – Autism Walk

As some of you may know, my son, Brock, was diagnosed with autism when he was just 22 months old.  Every day he struggles to accomplish the smallest, most basic tasks.  As a parent who watches my precious son work so hard every day, I am doing all I can to raise money for other families that face similar challenges. Currently, one in 150 children are being diagnosed with autism so the need is overwhelming.

This coming Saturday is the Walk Now for Autism event in Kansas City.  We have a team called “Walk for Brock”.  Please consider making a donation to this amazing organization.  If everyone would donate just $1, it would make a substantial difference.

Visit www.peeperranch.com and follow the link on the homepage to make a contribution.

Thank you in advance for your consideration!

    Hi Dawn,
I’m a music teacher who works with autistic children every week. I’d be happy to help with the walk. Please be comforted to know that the disorder does improve with time and therapy, and that autistic children are often very creative, intelligent, and loving. Some of my children are very musical, and they all put a smile on my face before they leave school for the day. Hugs to you, Lisa

I have some special people in my life who have autism, and wanted to make a donation on your site. I am only in a position to give a small amount, as we contribute to other organizations as well, and your website will not let me make the contribution saying the amount is too small. can this be revised?
    Enjoy the walk!
