MSV Ringo Starr

Do you want to stand out in the crowd?  Come take a ride on the Mercedes Benz of western pleasure mounts.

“Ting” is a 6 year old gelding and has been in training with Jeff and Amy Bessey at Summerbird Farm throughout his career.  He is a true 15.2 hands, chestnut, blond tail, with enough chrome to stand out in the ring.

He has been shown in the Amateur, Ladies Amateur and Open Western Pleasure divisions at NY, Jubilee, Gold Cup, and New England Regionals, as well as OKC.  His 2007 wins include:

Grand National Champion Ladies Amat. Gelding 15.1 and over

Reserve Grand National Champion Amat. Gelding 15. 1 and over

Reserve Grand National Champion Open Gelding 15. 1 and over

4th World Ladies Amateur Championship – with 1 first place vote

4th World Amateur Championship – the highest placing non-stallion

Shown only lightly this year, he will be at OKC coming off his Reserve Champion Ladies win at Gold Cup and Reserve Champion Open Western Pleasure win at Jubilee.

“Ting” is flashy and competative enough for the Ladies, Open, and Amateur divisions.  He is also very well mannered and safe for a novice rider, jr. exhibitor or master.

If you’re interested in seeing the winner’s circle next year, come visit him at Oklahoma, and talk to Jeff and Amy Bessey about taking him home!

I LOVE this horse. Someone needs to snap him up!

He will sell in a minute at Nationals.

    I agree!
I wanted to buy this horse two seasons ago for an amateur rider, but he wasn’t offered for sale at the time. Of course, now he is, and I don’t have anyone shopping for a western horse now!! Too bad… he will be a nice addition to any show string.

I think you should take pity on Allie, she needs a bigger horse. :) Just Kiddin, I know he won’t last long on the sale page, he’s a great horse.

  5. I really enjoy watching this horse as well. I am bummed I don’t have anyone looking for a western horse currently!! Good Luck at OKC :)

I am not in the market for another horse, but he has been on my wish list for years!! He would make an excellent junior exhibitor horse for my girls!!
