We have decided after serious consideration that we will offer HVK Rolling Thunder (Max) for sale.  Max is by HVK Bellweather and out of HVK Radiant, which makes him a sibling to many world champions.

He is bay and a solid 15.2, pretty and athletic.  He has been worked and people have been on him but he is not broke, although it sure wouldn’t take much.  He loves to have a job.  He would make a wonderful English pleasure or classic horse.

He is currently still a stud and has 2 nice fillies and an exceptional colt on the ground.  The colt took 4th at the very competitive Michigan Morgan Futurity 2 years ago and most people there thought he should have won.

As my dad, who does most of the handling and care of the horses, is now in his 60’s and the economy we have decided that finding Max a home where someone will either use him or geld him would be the best thing.  He is just too nice to sit around the farm.

Offers will be considered.  Asking 6500.00.  He is good for the vet and farrier.  He is easy to handle to hand bred and he has never been taught to collect.  He is handled almost daily by teens and is just a good boy.

HVK Rolling Thunder (HVK Bellweather x HVK Radiant).  Max is 7 years old, has been started.  He has 3 really nice foals on the ground, 2 fillies and 1 colt.  His colt was 4th in the Michigan Sweeps class last year.

Max could easily and would love to go back into training and have a job.  He has tons of motion but I don’t keep shoes on him and his feet are short right now as he is outside during the day.

Max is 15.2 hands, bay, pretty, great bone, athletic and great form to function.  I have had him in lines and have been on him with someone on the ground.  He has lots of energy!!

He is very people orinated and good around kids.  My barn kids lead him in and outside.

I would like to get 10,000 for him or a lease is possible.

He has only done live cover but would not take much for him to learn to do the mount.

Rosevale Leggo is a beautiful 16h black Morgan stallion with a penchant for dressage. I bought a breeding for $1000 and would be willing to pass it on for much less. My mare did not take and is getting too old to breed. This is a great opportunity for someone with a nice mare.

The lineup of stallions for the Seventh Annual Morgan Dressage Association Stallion Service Sale is better than ever, with an exceptional group of stallions representing some of the most successful bloodlines in the breed. All stallions are offered at half their published stud fee, with the bidding starting January 2, 2008. The sale benefits the MDA Scholarship program, which has provided training scholarships to dozens of riders over the past six years, helping them move forward with their Morgans.

The Morgan Dressage Association has informed me that there are still Stallion stud services available. See the Morgan Dressage Association Stallion Sale page for a listing of the Stallions and to obtain a bid form.
