Snowy Picture Submissions

I had so much fun checking my email over the weekend and getting to see your snowy photo submissions! As much as I wanted to include them all, I didn’t want this post to get too long. Here, in no particular order, are a few of my favorites:

This is “Breeze”, a Morgan gelding. Submitted by Caitlin McGurty

Kathi Hummel sent me some stunning photos of her stallion, CKH Chesspiece (I would be remiss at this point if I didn’t include a lovely snowy video of this guys sire, Centerpiece):

Next we have Moriah Ever Vigiliant, “Jack”. A hunter pleasure gelding owned by Karen Laubach (Karen also submitted a video of her exchange student “horsing around” on a sled first drawn by horse, and then drawn by sheep, yes, sheep):

Chrislar Farms had so much snow they had to shovel it off the roof of their indoor arena. Afterwards the horses were mountain climbing and playing peek-a-boo!

Patchwork Kool Kat, owned by Patchwork Morgans, almost lost it in his enthusiasm:

The Apprentice and Jess Brown sharing a moment in the snow:

LSC Strategicallyspeaking, “Bing”, plays in the snow at Never Ending Farm:

How could I not include a horse with a name like Fiddler’s Tiz A Blizzard? Answer, I couldn’t. Still owned by Fiddler’s Green Farm, Janie Murphy says “She is pictured with her pasture buddy the Saddlebred mare Princess Time by Flight Time. We had so much snow we could not reach the pasture so we used the driveway for their exercise.”

CBMF Ruby:

Merry Lee took some lovely pictures of her mare Rambling Brook Fantasia. Merry has a whole facebook album where you can see more of this lovely mare, but I chose 2 of my favorites:

A few students at Dawnville farm blaze a trail through the snow.

Andrea & Catriona Kozijn on their Morgan geldings enjoying a day in the snow.
