Hello all!

This year has had its ups and downs and next year is bound to bring a fresh array of excitement as well. Before this year is over though let’s all pitch in something memorable that happened in 2010.

Whew, well for me it definitely had its ups and downs. Lost my beloved canine companion of 13 1/2 years, reluctantly sold my show horse who I’ve had for 8… BUT bought two new youngsters that I am excited about. Had two offers for actual EMPLOYMENT on the same day. Began working from home. Became a step mom. Got a new (now 100+ lb) puppy…Gee, no wonder I have had some stress! Counting my many blessings, and looking forward to 2012 and hopefully showing this year…. Happy New Years everyone! Be safe and be sane!

In 2010 I managed my first horse show and my mom made into the ring showing her horse. Those are the most memorable for me!

Outside of the World Equestrian Games, which are now pretty much a big blur in my memory, I actually had a pretty uneventful year. That’s not a bad thing–sure beats a tragic year–but looking back, I can’t think of anything outstanding in my equestrian life. I guess the biggest thing was moving my horse to a beautiful new farm (new to us, that is.) It was probably the best decision I’ve made, but I am missing having an indoor right about now.

My goal for 2011 is to go to OKC (sans horse…just as a spectator.) I’ve still never been, and it’s time to remedy that.
