Benefit Auction for Tim O’Gorman

THIS JUST IN!  Maretta Kennedy has donated a custom bronze, 1/6 scale of a horse standing or moving.  The value is $5500.  It will be in the Live Auction Thursday night.  email MochaMon228@gmail.com to get a phone bidder’s number and call back on Thursday.

There will be a concurrent Silent Auction during the show, Thursday through Saturday.  Once I have a list of everything brought to the show, the list will be posted here, and on Facebook, on the wall of the “Friends of Tim O’Gorman” group.  Bids on the Silent Auction items will be accepted by email at MochaMon228@gmail.com.

I am so proud to be a part of the Morgan community!!

Let’s Get Byzy (Stonecroft Byzantine x RBC Leah) – aka “Chad”.  2006 Black-Bey Gelding.  Following a stellar debut season in 2008, in which his more notable accomplishments included being Reserve National Champion Hunter Pleasure Gelding, World Top 4 Hunter Pleasure, the Prairie State Classic Hunter Pleasure Grand Champion and Stallion & Gelding Hunter Pleasure Champion, and the Saddle Horse Report Grand Champion Hunter Pleasure, he has followed it up with some remarkable 2009 performances.  Teamed with an amateur, he has been Grand Champion Hunter Pleasure Amateur and the Hunter Pleasure Amateur qualifier winner at the Morgan Masterpiece Horse Show, as well as being Reserve in Hunter Pleasure Ladies.

Showring accomplishments aside, “Chad” is a personable, super friendly guy who truly loves his people.  He is a perfect gentleman on the ground, and is so easy for clipping, grooming, shoeing, tying, and bathing that just about anyone can do it.  Under saddle, he is clearly a talented individual that will be at the top in any division in the Hunter Pleasure field – whether it’s with a Jr Exhibitor, Amateur, or as an Open horse with the experienced rider.  He is easy to work, fun to show, and wonderful to be around.  He would also make an excellent dressage prospect if the main ring is not your particular cup of tea.

Reasonably priced.  Video available.  Chad will also be available for viewing and test rides at the Morgan Grand National in Oklahoma City.

Looking for used Carriage

I have a two year old that I am hoping to break to cart this fall…  My long term goal is to show him Carriage/Sport Horse.  He is 16 hands and growing!!   I have looked around and I really like the Meadowbrook Style. If anyone has any good websites I should visit or any good pointers I would love to hear them. Thanks

I young girl in my 4H club is looking to get a horse. Her parents don’t have a lot of money so she has made a deal with our barn to clean stalls in exchange for partial board. We are trying to find her a suitable horse either for free or for very cheap. So if you know of anyone who can no longer keep their Morgan and is trying to find a good home for it please let me know. There are a couple of horses in our area in need of a good home that would be suitable for her however she has been riding my Morgan and has fallen in love with the breed so I promised her I would at least try and find her a Morgan. She is a very responsible girl who completely loves horses and if  she could no longer keep the horse due to financial reasons we would take the horse to use in our lesson and summer camp program so the horse would defiantly stay with a good home. She is not in need of anything fancy just something she could ride huntseat and/or western and take to 4H level shows. An older horse in its late teens or early twenties would be fine.

Thanks.

Great Youth Gelding for sale

Ancan Always and Forever (Forevermore x FCF Snapdragon) is a 7 year old 14.3 hand bay gelding.  Ev has that golden retriever personality and “I want to please you” attitude.  I originally bought him to be my amateur western pleasure horse but after a couple months in training, I realized that he would be much better suited for the w/t or 13 and under divisions.  I also found the horse of my dreams which of course comes with a very large price tag, or else Ev would never be for sale.

Ev has been trail ridden and is not spooky or hot. He is not a big fan of crossing water, but will reluctantly do it just to make his rider happy! LOL.

My 11 year old daughter rides him without any problems.  He is current on normal vaccines including rabies and WNV, farrier and worming.  No one will ever wonder what breed of horse he is as he screams “I am a typey Morgan Horse!”

Email for pictures.
