Oh that is wonderful Stacy CONGRATS!!!

On your beautiful filly! Do you mind my asking who her parents are? Glad your having fun.

  2. Congrats on the first foal, hopefully all the rest will be just as happy and healthy.
And I’m mega jealous about your weather. Its supposed to be a whopping 9 degrees today in MI, along with single and negative digits for the rest of the week. Send some of that sunniness this way please!

Oh I am soooo very jealous of your weather! We are getting ready to have 4 days in a row of less than 10 degree highs. No good. But I am thrilled to hear about the healthy arrival! Congrats! :-)

This filly is a full sister to State of GRace that I was RWC with in the futurity 2 yr old pleasure driving this year at OKC. That makes her by MLF Sharper Image and out of Bellamor (full sister to Bell’s Masterpiece).
BTW…if any of you have Flaire mares as broodmares and are wondering how to breed them, Sharper Image has consistantly crossed very well with them! He is early in his breeding career and has already produced 2 rwc’s that had thier mother’s best qualities and improved greatly on their flaws. People on this blog are often asking about who to breed to…this is one to watch, IMO.
As for the weather…yes…I do love the Ca winters:)Can’t complain at all…all I can say is you guys are welcome to visit:)

Rule #906.3 (b) of the Blog Rules states:

“No weather reports from California are to be posted before the 1st of March.”

hahaha…sorry Bill. When I fly to the Cochran sale each year and drag my heavy clothes out of the depths of my closet I remember how much I do love Ca! And that isn’t even a northern spot of the deepest part of winter. Perhaps you and Sammi should come for a visit…the sun is a wonderful thing:)In the meantime, you have nothing to complain about…I’m sure that amazing farm of yours is just beautiful under a dusting of snow!
