Hi Everyone; I loved the Amateur Park Saddle Class and I started to tear up when Allyson Nord started to cry when her number was called. I had just met her two days beforehand!

I was fortunate enough to be part of the Broadmoor team this year because my son David has spent the last six months doing an apprenticeship with them. Mike and Dwayne are awesome and David said he would do it all again, no regrets!

I also loved the Ladies Park Saddle Class, again, watching Allyson win with Love Her Madly. Did you catch "LOLA" smirking with her lips in the line-up? She was a hoot and brilliant in her class!

Trisha- This is a couple days late... but yes, that was Alyssa Wick on Smitty in Jr Ex Park World Championship. She was indeed crying, though she says she doesn't know why! That was her last year as a jr ex and they had already won the class last year. Smitty is a tough cookie and Alyssa only catch rides him at shows. She has done a wonderful job with him over the last three years.

This is a bit off the point, but I don't know how to start a new post....
Don't you think Youth classes should have a world class? Surely it would help some youth stay in the breed as it is still a progress step between Junior Exhibitor and Ladies/Amateur. Youth Eq would be cool also!

I am sorry I have missed this problem. When we updated the blog software some strange problems have arisen. I will have my tech dude look into it.

I am also sorry I haven't caught this line of comments sooner either. I have been in the midst of some other "life" stuff and haven't been able to watch as closely. If anything of this nature happens please email me directly. I will try to be a little more attentive.

I agree on the anonymous posting as well. Actually, people signing with a psuedonym have much the same effect, as people cannot identify them.

Be really nice if posters signed with their name on each post. That eliminates any isse with the website showing "anonymous" even after signing in.

Mark--

I completely agree! I have taken A LOT of heat for some of my comments about the New England Regional. I gladly signed my name to the posts, and I have left them up there. I wouldn't post something in this kind of a format that I hadn't given careful thought to, but if I think it through, and think it is the right thing, I am signing my name to it every time!!

BTW-- Will you be at the Cochran's auction? :-)

Hi Mark,

I also find it very irritating when someone posts "anonymous". I noticed a lot of posts on here being signed that way. Then it happened to me. A few weeks ago, I was signed in to this site and when I posted something, it came up anonymous. I am thinking it is some sort of computer glitch. Having said that, I am not sure that is not the case all of the time. Since that happened to me, I have wondered how many people thought their name was going to show up and it didn't.
