I totally agree with hrhirene!

I love the blog format for show results and classified and what not, but when it comes to actual discussions, a forum might be easier to navigate. It might make people more apt to start a topic as well!

I also read trot.org and its a great forum… except there seems to be no Morgan people! It would be so, so cool to have a morgan message board.

Congratulations! This blog is really getting a great reading – I think every time I step into the barn I get a new person (client, lesson kid, whatever) that goes ‘have you heard about this Above Level blog??’

I have a suggestion, though – add forums to the site! That would definitely get the readership and comments up, I think. Think of some of the successful ASB and Arabian forums – ablackhorse.com, awhitehorse.com, trot.org. I frequent them just for show horse discussion since I can’t ever find a good Morgan forum

Congrats! I also think this is a fantastic site and I visit it daily, often more than once. It is awesome to see it grow, I shared it with my friends many months ago and they are starting to visit also.

So I just called my husband and told him that I can’t clean the house today because I am stuck outside the house. “Why?” he asked. “Because I can’t get my BIG HEAD through the front door!!!”

All kidding aside, thanks so much for all the wonderful comments. Just to let you all know, I always want suggestions and feedback (positive and negative, both). I really do want this to be a site where everybody is comfortable and gets the info. they are looking for. This is a great blog! I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. While I participate actively in some dog breed blogs, it isn’t the same. My dog friends listen to my horse issues but can’t do much else… This is a fantastic place for me—and a Morgan one at that! Way to go!!!!

I am so glad it is an alternative to certain chat groups (aka vehicles to slam the AMHA) where show-people are not exactly perceived in a good light. On this blog, I don’t feel like I have to “tone down” my enthusiasm for the Morgan show horse!

It is also nice to see everyone voicing opinions in an adult, civil tone…not attacking each other like bickering children.
