Ladies English Pleasure Championship-The Pink Ribbon Class-Gold Cup

Here is video from the Ladies English Pleasure Championship.  There was great support for Breast Cancer Awareness as you can see from all the pink decorations and pink shirts!  Even the guys jumped right in with pink bow pins, baseball caps, and shirts. Howie Schatzburg doned a pink bow tie and vest with his evening tux and Jeff Bessey rode in the Western Pleasure Gentlemen’s Class in a pink shirt.  Mrs. JoAnn Celecki, breast cancer survivor, represented Above Level as an award presenter for the class and exhibitors in the class named a person(s) of whom they were riding in honor or in memory.  These names were announced when the horses were pinned.  The first video is the class (It started with a time out, hence the standing around); the second is the work off; the third is the ribbon presentation.

****Error Correction – I downloaded the wrong video as the Ribbon Presentation-SORRY.  I will get the CORRECT video up today*****

*****The correct video is now up; Again, sorry for the mix-up! -BEB)****

(sorry it took so long to get this posted.  I was having YouTube Uploading issues.)

Thank you Beth for your report on the Morgan Gold Cup Pink Ribbon Class, for your support of the Komen Foundation with your generous donation and your continued support of this cause with the UPHA.

Folks no matter where you show this year you will need to pack pink clothing because UPHA has a goal of hosting these classes in every major show! Look for Pink Celebrations at the Penn Ohio, Syracuse and if you are showing out of a mixed barn – check out your next Saddlebred show. Proceeds from these UPHA sponsored classes support the Susan G Komen Foundation which is the charity UPHA has selected.

So celebrate the advances we have made in treatment, care and education by supporting your local horse show as it host it’s Pink Ribbon Class!!
