Wanted 21″ Shively

Hey everyone, I’m trying to find a 21? Shively, used but in show condition. We are pretty negotiable on the price, as long it is in good shape, but I won’t pass up a nicely broken in one :)

I’m keeping my eyes on Trot.org, but if someone hears of one for sale please let me know. Thanks so much!

Cabot Courage Command

(Courage of Equinox * Valiant Aphrodite)The time has come for me to really sell my Rambo or “Ham.” He is the 2004 Junior Exhibitor Hunter Pleasure World Champion and holds world and national titles in the ladies, amateur and open divisions as well. Quite simply, he is a once in a lifetime horse and has been made extremely affordable by serious financial constraints. He is seventeen years old but behaves like he’s six with the size and stamina to remain extremely competitive in the hunter pleasure division for years to come.

Please direct inquires to me, Allie Rowbottom at 603-852-2667 or hamshoegirl@gmail.com

I received this message from a friend of Above Level.  It was written by Sandy Sessink to all of her and her brother’s friends in the Morgan community.

If we are very lucky, each one of us has a person in our lives who we automatically turn to when something
important happens, good or bad.  We are unconditionally drawn to that person for support just to get through everyday life.  My brother, Calvin Sessink was that person for me.  I would not be who I am in the horse business, or as a person were it not for Calvin.  As many of you know, Calvin passed away last night, June 24th.  He sustained devastating injuries after being struck by a large tree branch while working on his tractor here at Old Orchard Farm in Michigan.  The damage was just too much for his body to handle.

The following arrangements have been made to honor Calvin: Visitation will begin at 11:30 am on Saturday, June 28th at Phillips Funeral HomeA service will be held at 5:00 pm at the funeral home.A buffet gathering will follow at the South Lyon Hotel, adjacent to the funeral home.Phillips Funeral Home 122 West Lake StreetSouth Lyon, Michigan 48178; 248-437-1616.

In lieu of flowers the family and friends of Calvin would ask that you send donations to the AMHA Capital Building Fund in his memory.

The Capital Building Fund was established in 2007 to address repairs needed at the AMHA Headquarters in
Shelburne VT. Contributions in Calvin’s memory will be directed to repairs of the historical cupola that tops the facility, and a plaque will be placed in the foyer in Calvin’s remembrance.

Donation may be sent  to:
Julie Broadway
AMHA Executive Director
122 Bostwick Rd
Shelburne VT 05482

Make Check Payable to:
“Capital Building Fund’ and on the memo line include “In memory of Calvin Sessink”

My best to all of you,
Sandy Sessink

Here is video from the Ladies English Pleasure Championship.  There was great support for Breast Cancer Awareness as you can see from all the pink decorations and pink shirts!  Even the guys jumped right in with pink bow pins, baseball caps, and shirts. Howie Schatzburg doned a pink bow tie and vest with his evening tux and Jeff Bessey rode in the Western Pleasure Gentlemen’s Class in a pink shirt.  Mrs. JoAnn Celecki, breast cancer survivor, represented Above Level as an award presenter for the class and exhibitors in the class named a person(s) of whom they were riding in honor or in memory.  These names were announced when the horses were pinned.  The first video is the class (It started with a time out, hence the standing around); the second is the work off; the third is the ribbon presentation.

****Error Correction – I downloaded the wrong video as the Ribbon Presentation-SORRY.  I will get the CORRECT video up today*****

*****The correct video is now up; Again, sorry for the mix-up! -BEB)****
