As I have written before, I think that riding instructors are on a fast track to Sainthood (see “Ode to the Riding Instructor). Yesterday morning, my daughter’s instructor made a huge leap forward in her journey. Originally, I was going to name this post “I Just About Puked!”, and while not the prettiest title, it would have been a very appropriate one; a title other moms out there could probably relate to.

My daughter has been riding in the local Academy shows for a few years now and during the winter tournaments graduated to the Walk/Trot/Canter classes. Morgan Show Results

I wanted to let everybody know that I am in the process of getting the results from this past weekend’s shows.  I have contacted the show secretaries and am waiting to receive them for posting.  Please check back over the next couple of days.   I will have them up as soon as I get them.

The rise in gas prices this Spring has been scary, to say the least.   I can’t say that I have been surprised that it has been  rising, but I do get a shock when I see it go up so much in a matter of days and not weeks as in previous springs and summers.

I have been wondering if exhibitors and trainers have had to adjust their show schedules as a results of the increase.   Please check out the poll and vote on whether you will be affected or not, or if it has changed the distance you will travel comment on this post.
