The 48th Connecticut Morgan Horse Show will be held June 4-7, 2008 at the Eastern States Coliseum in West Springfield, MA. This show, sponsored by the Connecticut Morgan Horse Association, Inc., offers a full schedule including both Dressage and Carriage Classes.

Judging for this show will be performed by Phil Price, Bellbrook, OH (Stallions In-Hand, Park Harness, English Pleasure, Classic Pleasure Saddle, Western Equitation, Western Pleasure, Roadster, Road Hack); Virginia Norris, Farmersville, TX (Geldings In-Hand, Park Saddle, Pleasure Driving, Classic Pleasure Driving, Saddle Seat Equitation, Hunter Equitation, Hunter Pleasure and Leadline); Dorothy Demis, Townsend, MA (Dressage); and John Greenall (West Windsor, VT (Carriage).

Any one else gearing up for Southern States?

According to the AMHA website Latest News, Fred Nava, the Show Manager for the 2008 Grand Nationals, met with officials from OKC hotels to generate support for this year’s Grand Nationals.  In the article, “News From Grand National Show Manager, Fred Nava“, a list of the participating hotels is provided, with each one being rated based on its level of participation in the sponsorship program.  Fred was also able to provide some general information about some of the hotels, such as updates and and renovations.
