New Poll For This Week – Pink Ribbon Program
Author: Black Eye BethMay 12
I am wondering how many of you out there will be participating in the UPHA Pink Ribbon Fund Raising Efforts this show season and, if you are, in what capacity?
I think this is such a great cause that AboveLevel.com will be participating in the program at the Gold Cup Regional Show this June. I will be donating 100% of the profits from any blog Ads purchased by trainers or exhibitors participating in the Gold Cup Regional to Breast Cancer Research. In the next couple of weeks the Ad placement on the front page of the blog is going to be updated to accommodate a larger number of Ad photos, so hopefully we will get many interested Morgan people that want to donate to the Pink Ribbon Program.
I will have more information in the coming weeks prior to the show. For more information about the UPHA Pink Ribbon Program see the post, “UPHA Pink Ribbon Program“.
Angel Horses story contest.
Author: flytwayfarmMay 12
The Angel Animals Network (www.angelanimals.net) is sponsoring the 2008 Angel Horse Contest to find the most thought-provoking horse stories and consider them for publication in their book, Angel Horses with a Mission (New World Library, Fall 2009). There are cash prizes and no entry fee. Complete contest rules and a downloadable entry form are at http://www.angelanimals.net/awards.htmlor write with SASE to 2008 Angel Horses Contest, POB 26354, Minneapolis, MN 55426. Allen Anderson says, “By showing how the immense spirit, heart, and intelligence of horses enables them to fulfill a higher purpose, we hope the power of true stories will persuade people to challenge brutality and the practice of treating horses as disposable possessions.”

Photos from the Chapter 14 UPHA Pink Ribbon Events
Author: Mocha MomMay 12
This is a continuation of the report on the UPHA Spring Premier show. Hopefully everyone is aware of UPHA’s effort to raise $100,000 for breast cancer research and education (see UPHA Pink Ribbon Program) and is thinking about ways to help. Above Level is making plans to participate in the Pink Ribbon event at the Gold Cup Regional. Perhaps these photos will inspire some of you.
Look at all that PINK!
