There is nothing like seeing a "Walk/Trotter" on a geat horse. You know that kid will never forget the time he/she has with that horse.

Another observation from the UPHA Spring Premiere. Fred and Christine Nava have leased the Morgan Hunter, Manchester In Demand and paired him with Michelle Quinlisk in the Walk/Trot division. This horse has been a favorite hunter pleasure horse of our nameless reporter and he and Michelle made a successful debut, winning the W/T Hunter/Western Pleasure Championship after also winning the qualifier. Look for them on the New England circuit throughout the summer.

It was overheard both in the barns and at ringside - "What a fantastic job Grace Steere did showing her horse, Lamborghini In Black, to the Morgan Park Saddle Championship." Dr. Steere is probably best known to the Morgan show world as an owner and exhibitor of many successful Roadster to Bike horses. An eye-witness said she had a wonderful ride on the reigning WC Park Saddle horse and impressed the crowd made up of Saddlebred, Hackney Pony, and Morgan exhibitors. Reportedly, Grace has set her sights on the 2008 Amateur Park Saddle World Championship. The word on the street says that she has not shown under saddle since she was in her 20s. What a great start she has made. Good Luck Grace.
